Who in the World is Anna?

So these things are always annoying aren’t they. It’s like online dating… “Likes long walks on the beach and a good book”. Now as it happens I do like a good book, but long walks on the beach are a bit over-rated. I once did a long walk on a beach. When I was 7-years-old I walked 3.5miles along a pebble beach in Norfolk with my family. I sustained myself with the promise of an ice-cream at the end. The ice-cream hut was shut. On the way back my dad counted every step to keep from going insane. I’m not sure it worked. I don’t remember how many steps it was, but I do remember that ice-cream hut. For that walk, over-rated is putting it kindly.

So who am I? I recently did one of those DISC personality profile tests and it told me I am naturally the following:

Enthusiastic, gregarious, adventurous, risk-taking, forceful, persuasive, emotional, impetuous, spontaneous, rebellious, stubborn and sarcastic.

Well I guess that explains why my last relationship failed…

I have trouble staying in one place for a long period of time. Or doing the same thing for a long period of time. I mean people talk about itchy feet, but I think mine are more like poison-ivy-feet (I just googled “what is the worst rash?” and that stuff does some nasty things to people!). So I end up juggling between doing something for short enough that I don’t go stir-crazy, and doing something long enough to make my actions useful. That’s where volunteering comes in. And that brings me to this blog. So take a look around, and I hope you find something to smile at, laugh at, or even maybe barf at. Who knows?
